On 11/30 at Regal. I’ve never seen this because the trailer creeps me out.

Addams Family Values | Regal

One of those sequels that’s better than the original.

11/24 MONDAY

I think people are gaslighting me. This is not a good movie.

The Big Heat (1953) | Alamo Drafthouse

Fritz Lang after making M and Metropolis moved to Hollywood and just kept putting out bangers.

FILTH! | Hyperreal Film Club

I think this is the 4th reel of this series of dirty movies.

Branded to Kill | Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

Japanese ‘60s psychosexual movie presented by Queer Film Theory 101. Lured me in.

Mystery Transmission 030 | Alamo Drafthouse

Thanksgiving horror found footage TV broadcast from the ‘90s. I noticed they number these with that zero in front like they fully expect to go past 100. Hope they do.

Little Women (2019) | Regal

On 12/01 at Alamo Drafthouse. Gerwig’s Little Women.

The Man Who Invented Christmas | Austin Public Library Milwood Branch

It’s that movie about Charles Dickens writing A Christmas Carol. Dan Stevens is a good actor.

The Wolfman | Austin Public Library Carver Branch

Not sure which version but what an interesting choice.

WENT THE DAY WELL? | Austin Film Society

Part of the Nope to Nazis series. Regular folks fight back against the fascists.

Late Bresson movie just restored.

Foodfight! | Alamo Drafthouse

Weird Wednesday presents just in time for Thanksgiving a movie about food mascots in the grocery store that will melt your mind.

11/27  Thursday

Thanksgiving | Regal

My favorite part of this movie is the first section and Black Friday (2021) was a whole movie about just that part.
