Last November was the ten year anniversary of the release of Over The Garden Wall which we celebrated with not one but two joyful and cozy screenings at the clubhouse. If you’ve visited since then, you may have caught view of a relic from our Photo Booth - Enoch’s giant stuffed pumpkin head floating above the upstairs lounge (I have no idea what we call that area!). This year (as deep into sweater weather as we can push it) we’ll dance dangerously close to getting a tradition going by wandering into The Unknown together once more. 

Created by Patrick McHale (Adventure Time, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), the OTGW pulls from several American traditions of animation and music to create a sincerely nostalgic aesthetic grounded by a cast of familiar voices including Elijah Wood, Melanie Lynskey, Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd, and John Cleese. Whimsical, poetic, heartwarming, mysterious, a bit spooky, and musically ingenious: OTGW has struck a unique chord amongst animation fans and lost souls alike that has continued to warmly reverberate each autumn.
