1939 satirical comedy take down of the the upper class French.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks | Blue Starlite Mueller
No car needed. One of my favorite movies as a kid. RIP Angela Landsbury one of the greats.
Cinemark is showing some classic horror movies this weekend.
So many of my memories of this movie might actually be Christiane F.
I think this movie holds up.

The Virgin Suicides | Alamo Drafthouse
This might be fun to see with that Air soundtrack on a theater sound system.

In the woods with fog.
Nightmare on Elm Street | Cinemark
More Classic horror movies at Cinemark. I think these qualify as classics.
SIMONE BARBES OR VIRTUE | Austin Film Society
An influence on Knife + Heart and I love that movie so I’m very excited about this one.
Shakespeare's S##tstorm with Live Q&A | Alamo Drafthouse
Lloyd Kaufman Co-Creator of Troma Studios and director of Toxic Avenger has made their version of The Tempest and will be in attendance.
Prior to this on Friday (3/3) there is a PooPoo Platter Drag tribute to Troma at Valhalla and Lloyd Kaufman will be there as well.

Ai Weiwei documentary about the global refugee crisis.
Casablanca | Cinemark
If you’ve wanted to see this in a theater and haven’t had a chance.
This is a Classic.
Little Shop of Horrors | Galaxy
It’s funny but some of these songs are beautiful.

Definitely want to see this movie. This is the kind of revisionist western I can get behind.

Action, Comedy, Horror, Heather Locklear.
Tuesday 3/7
Night of the Creeps | Alamo Drafthouse
Part of the Terror Tuesday Series. I love ‘80s horror when it’s not taking itself seriously and this is one of the best.
Wednesday 3/8
Unseen since its 1972 release. Holly Woodlawn (from Warhol’s factory) Movie Musical.
