Big week for Harry Potter. I’ve heard this one is the best one.

I don’t remember this one at all.

The original when he was the bad guy.

Great surfer movie. 

The Dark Knight | Bullock Texas State History Museum IMAX 

Christopher Nolan makes movies for IMAX, so this is the best way to see it. 

Twister (1996) 4DX | Regal 

You can watch the original Twister in 4DX. They are also screening the new plural movie in 4DX.

Repo Man | Alamo Drafthouse 

Alex Cox punk movie. 

The Battle Of Algiers — We Luv Video

You watch this and it’s like nothing has changed.

They are playing the English Dub with Phil Hartman as the cat.

If ya wanna watch the first movie before the prequel series season 2 comes out. 

Superbad | Flix Brewhouse

One of those movies that’s for teens of a specific time. 

The Breakfast Club | Flix Brewhouse

Another one of those movies. 

Strangers Kiss | Alamo Drafthouse 

1983 imagined remaking of Kubrick’s Killer’s Kiss. 

Streets of Fire | Paramount 

Presented by Hyperreal Film Club 

If you like Willem Dafoe and/or The Warriors you should go see this. 

Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge | We Luv Video

Maybe the best slasher remake of Phantom of the Opera starring Pauly Shore. 

Sunday 9/1

Another chance to see this one. 

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix | Regal | Cinemark

All those kids get together and save Dumbledore.

The Wizard of Oz | Paramount 

Great movie to see in this old theater.

Back to the Future | IPIC Theater

Played Flix Brewhouse last week but that was in Round Rock and this is at the Domain. 

What's Up Doc? | Paramount 

This is a great movie and I love that they end the Summer series with this. 

Monday 9/2

I don’t remember what this one is about. 

Probably Voldemort.

French New Wave movie about a love triangle. 

Tuesday 9/3

The beginning of the end.

Part of the Terror Tuesday series.

You can see the original in 35mm.

THE STORE | Austin Film Society

The start of a series of eight documentaries by Frederick Wiseman. 

This one is about the Neiman Marcus in Dallas.

Secret Movie | Hyperreal Film Club 

To inaugurate the screening room there will be a week of secret screenings. 

No idea what this will be but you gotta love a secret screening. 

Wednesday 9/4

The end.

You've Got Mail | Cinépolis 

Nora Ephron classic. 

A lot of her movies are kinda remakes. 

This one is kinda like The Shop Around the Corner with good ole James Stewart. 

The Baby | Alamo Drafthouse 

Part of the Weird Wednesday series. 

You have to see The Baby.

Secret Movie | Hyperreal Film Club

This is the second screening at the new clubhouse.
