With only two prior features under his belt currently, Sean Byrne has been a name to watch. The Loved Ones and The Devil’s Candy both absolutely blew me away, and the buzz behind his new film, Dangerous Animals, appears to follow suit. In a clever blend of genres, a serial killer kidnaps a surfer who has to figure out a way to escape before becoming shark food in a twisted ritual. Rumor also has it that after years of not quite finding his place in Hollywood blockbusters, Jai Courtney manages to steal the show here, and we love to see a turn like that. Join us as Shark Week keeps on rolling with a brand new feature about our favorite finned predators and their potentially even more dangerous human counterpart.
