Shy doctor Wil is bewitched by a dancer with a wild side, but finds it difficult to kindle sapphic romance while her watchful and traditional mother JOAN CHEN (Twin Peaks, Didi) is hiding out in her apartment due to her own unplanned pregnancy. Wil and her mother experience twin journeys of sexual liberation, learning to move past shame and into self-acceptance.
