Join us for a special FREE screening of The Dead Keep Dying at Hyperreal Film Club this October 17th + Live QNA with the Director. A dark comedy brewed in the streets of Austin, Texas. Conjured with miniDV cameras, ridiculous improvised set pieces, and a whole lot of heart.

When a Drifter (Don Daro, Virgin Cheerleaders in Chains) has a heated run-in with a down-on-his-luck taxi driver named Jerry (introducing Jerry Campbell), it seems a rivalry has begun. But later, when Jerry is chased by a leather-clad maniac wielding a baseball bat, the Drifter can’t help but intervene. An unlikely friendship blossoms and the Drifter and Jerry decide to do business together, setting off an ill-fated chain of events that will forever change their lives. Including encounters with car-f#cking fetishists, Jerry’s girlfriend’s incestuous brother, a fly living in Jerry’s taxi and an ominous presence pulling the strings.
