Morgan Hyde

Morgan Hyde is a professional film programmer and creature enthusiast based in Austin, Texas. After joining Hyperreal as a writer in 2019, she discovered a passion for screening films and quickly found her niche in queer, cult, and genre cinema. In addition to presenting over fifty titles for the Club since 2022, Morgan programs for Alamo Drafthouse's film team and co-hosts long-running local favorite Weird Wednesday with Laird Jimenez. When she's not nuking her brain with whatever's on Tubi, Morgan can be found playing spider mom to her five tarantulas.
