Jack Kyser is a writer, director and actor currently in pre-production on his first feature, RUSTY LIGHTNIN', which was a recipient of the 2023 Austin Film Society Grant for Feature Films. He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and studied acting at Herbert Berghof Studio. He currently works as a video editor and digital media specialist at Paramount/Comedy Central. Previously, he was an associate producer and assistant editor for Emmy-winning filmmaker Nancy Buirski, and interned for a year-and-a-half at Martin Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions. His prior eight short films have screened at film festivals nationwide, with his short RUSTY LIGHTNIN' KICK STARTS having recently won the Best Actor, Best Cinematography and Audience Award prizes at the 512 ATX Short Film Festival. He can next be seen onstage at Hyde Park Theatre's FronteraFest as part of his promotion for RUSTY LIGHTNIN'.
