Violet Crown Austin, Hyperreal Film Club and Lo-Fi Fest present RERUNS, a re-examination of our collective childhood media. Each event will feature live re-scorings of media from the featured musician's formative years. Together, we're updating the past to see what inspires the art of the future. 

1st: "Total Activation" is collaborative audiovisual project by Tara Bhattacharya Reed and Liz Rodda. The piece takes its cue from 1990s ad campaigns that concurrently influenced Bhattacharya Reed and Rodda despite growing up in different parts of the world. Tara Bhattacharya Reed (b. London) is a DJ on KOOP's Sunday night experimental music radio show "Commercial Suicide." Liz Rodda (b. CA) is an interdisciplinary artist and Associate Professor at Texas State University.

2nd: LACHANE will live score an experimental remix of "Jurassic Park" and "Aliens."
