Drunk, unlucky, living at home, he finds a reason to be excited about life in Yurlady. She's a talented young student who's work might be a ticket out of poverty. Darkly funny, absurd, sometimes cruel, sometimes heartfelt, this film is a portrait of the artist as a broken man.
