Kol, a Serbian-born, Australian amateur ballroom dancer, just wants to be seen, to be free. He gets a small taste at the freedom he craves when he comes to the rescue of a friend stranded on a beach, turning a day-long road trip with his friend's older brother into an unexpected exploration of identity. 

It's as normal as a road trip with your friend's older brother can be, until he learns that Adam is queer, and that he's leaving their hometown. And just like that, Kol's world fractures into a million pieces. Every expectation, every version of his future, every possibility of freedom from his destructive Melbourne home life floods his mind.
