Omar follows a Palestinian baker turned freedom fighter in the West Bank after the death of an Israeli soldier forces him to question his loyalty and trust of everyone around including his closest friends. With masterful direction by acclaimed director Hany Abu-Assad and superb performances lead by Adam Bakri, Omar has placed itself high in the canon of Palestinian cinema and is an excellent entry point to newer audiences of films from the region.

It’s an outdoor screening in the yard at Lynny’s! We’ll have some tables, chairs and deck seating — bring along a chair or blanket too if you'd like to guarantee some comfy seating or want to spread out in the yard, picnic style. BYOB and Lynny’s will be open for dinner with their full menu and espresso bar, and some fun specials.
