Spike Lee’s 2000 drama has gone pretty widely underseen, although spoken highly of if you’ve seen it. Bamboozled is a film like none other. Pierre Delacroix (Damon Wayans) is tired of getting his sitcom ideas rejected by the network, so one night in a state of frustration he comes up with an idea so heinous that the network would have to reject it and fire him for even bringing it up: a modern minstrel show. Spoiler: they loved it.
