Since time immemorial, from the moment the first head was bonked with a bone and caveperson #3 let out a mirthful grunt to the endless permutations of those sacred cartoon runes “ACME” and “TNT”, slapstick has slapped. Bodies in film exist on a spectrum from fragile goop to impervious rubber, and after a horror-fueled month of the former, we’ve got the latter’s ultimate palate cleanser ready to fling you straight to heaven.

Repetition, escalation, and whack-a-beaver energy is the name of the game, so if that sounds irritating to you… it probably will be. But for those down to give yourself a couple quick slaps in the face and jump in the log chute feet first, you’re in for a deliriously fun ride.
