This January 20th as we celebrate MLK day while ushering in a new political era, we invite you to join us in rage and hope. Come browse our pop-up zine library before the screening, featuring lit from local unions, repro orgs, and mutual aid groups.
Lizzie Borden’s controversial BORN IN FLAMES is set during the 10th anniversary of a peaceful socialist-democratic revolution and follows two feminist pirate radio hosts in New York City. This zero budget, found footage, underground anarchist agitprop film is a landmark of indie and queer cinema. It’s a searing battle-cry to collective resistance, as relevant in the Reagan era as it is today.
