It feels like the internet is turning us all into sociopaths. To get to the bottom of why this is happening, Michael Burns goes on a journey interviewing experts, talking to internet personalities, and eventually makes the decision to track down one of his own digital enemies. In the process, he stops listening to his friends and family and lets the internet take control. Spoiler: It does not end well.

Michael Burns is a philosopher turned comedian turned video essayist who spent years hosting the Wisecrack YouTube channel before launching his own channel in 2025. His work uses comedy, philosophy, and big ideas to make sense of an increasingly senseless world. His first film, Leave a Comment, will be released this fall on MeansTV.
