Winner of the 2025 Academy Award for Best Documentary feature, No Other Land is an essential and important look into the ongoing forced displacement of his home, Masafer Yatta. Palestinian director Basel documents the gradual erasure of Masafer Yatta as soldiers destroy the homes of families – the largest single act of forced transfer ever carried out in the occupied West Bank. Together with co-director Yuval Abraham, they document and fight against the real time expulsion of Palestinians in the West Bank.
